Hold the phone! The newest tech innovation is a mobile that dispenses fragrance.
Patented by Samsung, the beauty innovation involves an absorbent strip that releases scent when it’s heated (by the battery), and is replenished when the phone is charged.
This isn’t the first time the cellphone company has investigated the possibility of a phone-operated perfume. Samsung also developed a concept where scent is embedded in the phone’s slide or hinge mechanism, which would release every time you open it.
It may sound far-fetched, but we’re in favour of anything that makes our beauty bag a little lighter.
