Pop singer Lady Gaga has told a US magazine her naturally brunette locks are falling out because she bleaches her hair too much.
Lady Gaga, whose real name is Stephanie Germanotta, has been bleaching her hair since launching her pop career but told People magazine she misses her dark hair when she has to "get a chemical haircut because [her] blonde hair is falling out".

The 24-year-old star also admitted to sleeping in her make-up, seven days a week.
"That is not good for your skin, but I'm blessed with good genes," she said.
But "good genes" shouldn't receive all the credit for Gaga's peachy complexion. She also uses a sunscreen on her face daily.
"I don't like to tan my face because it's bad for wrinkles," she said.
But Gaga said the best beauty secret is just to be yourself.
"Just go with your gut," she said. "Whenever you try to be someone else, it's boring."
