She may be having four hairdressers for her wedding, but when it comes to her makeup, Kate Middleton is confident and low-maintenance enough to do it herself, according to wedding planner Mark Niemierko, who spoke to People magazine.
The royal bride has reportedly taken several private lessons with makeup artist Arabella Preston, and now feels she has learned enough to be comfortable going it alone.
The magazine also reports Kate has gone the DIY route before — unhappy with the makeup artist's efforts for her official engagement photo by Mario Testino, she is said to have wiped it off and created her own beautifully natural look.
When it comes to accomplishments as a princess, being able to do your own make-up will come in very handy, affording Kate more privacy and saving time.
