A Romanian model with a shockingly thin 50.8cm waist has been dubbed the "Human Hourglass" after video footage of her modelling was posted online.
Ioana Spangenberg, who is 167cm-tall and weighs only 38kg, insists she eats plenty of food and is only limited by her small stomach.
"No one seems to believe it, but every day I eat three big meals and I snack on chocolate and crisps all the time," she was quoted in the The Sun as saying.
"I just have a small stomach. It's a bit like having a natural gastric band if I eat too much, I feel sick."
Ms Spangenberg reportedly weighed more than her 3kg when she was born and it was only later in childhood that her unusual figure became apparent.
She said her school friends used to be able to put their hands right around her waist when she was 13.
"Someone could put their hands around it, their fingers would touch and they would still have extra room," she said.
She said she struggled with self-esteem issues through her 20s because of her weight.
"In Romania it is better to be overweight, because that means you are from a wealthy family," she said.
The 30-year-old began modelling after her German husband Jan Spangenberg posted photos of her unusual figure online and they attracted a huge amount of attention.
"Jan was the first person who saw me as beautiful and encouraged me to celebrate my body. He asked me to pose in some photos for him," she said.
"He was so impressed he put them online and the response was amazing.
"I would still like to gain weight so I don't look so shocking, and now that I live in Germany I can't get enough pizza or kebabs.
"But I'm finally comfortable in my own skin."
