Marc Jacobs may already be the master of scent (with 10 different perfumes and a new fragrance, Dot, to be launched this August), but now the fashion designer is ready to take over our faces with a new make-up line in collaboration with Sephora.
While the project is still in its early stages, Marc is optimistic about his foray into cosmetics, revealing: "I see make-up, fragrance — everything, really — as an opportunity.
"The idea of choosing a colour for your lip, or an eyeliner — it's just such a delight," he told WWD. "Anything that is part of the joy, the ritual, of getting dressed — that's what fashion's about for me."
So what can we expect from the line?
"We are currently working on defining what Marc Jacobs cosmetics will be," he continued. "What they'll say [and] what makes them distinctive."
Whatever Marc decides, we're sure the collection will appeal to beauty-obsessed fashionistas everywhere.
The collection's release date is yet to be revealed.
