She starred in the skincare giant’s TV commercials, but now Rihanna has reportedly been dropped as a face of Nivea.

According to OK! Magazine, Cosmetic tycoon Stefan Heidenreich, who is now the head of Nivea’s parent company Beiersdorf, told German media that the raunchy star isn’t a good fit for the family-oriented skincare brand.

Referring to the popstar’s sexually explicit lyrics and partying antics, he commented, “I do not understand how Nivea can be brought into association with Rihanna.”

The Umbrella hitmaker is reportedly being replaced by a new, no doubt more “appropriate”, face.
