Hosts of The Talk not wearing make-up

Female talk show hosts are normally seen on screen with immaculate hair and make-up, so it was a big deal for the stars of The Talk to go au naturale.

To celebrate the launch of season three of the popular TV3 talk show, hosts Sharon Osbourne, Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Aisha Tyler and Sheryl Underwood (all in their 30s, 40s and 50s) went completely make-up free. They also shunned the hairstylist and removed their wigs, while contrasting images showing them in their usual full glamour mode, played on a monitor.

The show’s guests, who included Jamie Lee Curtis, also took partake in the anti-vanity stunt, which was designed to celebrate women’s real beauty and highlight just how much work goes into creating the average TV-star look, against which many women unfairly measure themselves.
