Move over Brangelina: there's a new power couple in town. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West turned up the heat on the red carpet at Cannes this week, rocking - wait for it - matching outfits! But that wasn't all we caught ourselves 'ooh-ing' over; Kim's wet-look hair was the hottest look of the night.

Billed as one of spring/summer 2012 biggest beauty trends, wet-look hair can be worn two ways: with a masculine edge or as effortless, beach-inspired hair. Kim opted for a mix of both, rocking an ultra-luxe night look.

To create her glossy, high-shine look at home follow our easy step-by-step guide.

  • Distribute a volume-boosting foam (we love ghd Total Volume Foam) evenly through damp hair to give your locks an effortless, still-damp finish.
  • Smooth hair back from the crown to the nape of the neck with a detangling comb, whilst spritzing with a strong-hold hair spray.
  • Work a finishing serum gently through the hair for a glossy, high-shine finish.
  • Blow dry hair on high heat and low air. (Top tip: Use a soft sock diffuser when drying)
  • Finish with a shine spray.
  • YOUR SAY: Would you try Kim's wet-look style?
