Phoenix Cosmetics' star-studded 'makeup show' was a chance to see local celebrities like you'd never seen them before.
In the glamorous cast were current and former Shortland Street-ers Kimberley Crossman, Faye Smythe, Sally Martin and Frankie Adams, as well as Esther Stephens from Go Girls.
Looking fabulous in actual 1920s costumes courtesy of the Napier Art Deco Trust, the starlets sported eyelashes tipped with pearls, crystals and lace, wings made of ostrich feathers and sparkly Minx nails.
Their looks were inspired by the the prohibition era and icons such as Clara Bow, Josephine Baker and Jean Harlow.
The models strutted their stuff In front of an 800-strong crowd, in between performances by singers from Pop Force and the Diamond Entertainment burlesque dancers.
Shortland Street's Kiel McNaughton directed the opening of the show, which saw him and ex castmate Te Kohe Tuhaka and the Almighty Johnson’s Ben Barrington and Emmett Skilton star in a dramatic showdown.
